Marinaded Lamb Leg Steaks with Pine Nut, Apricot and Olive Caper Salsa, Whipped Feta, Roasted Veg and Fluffy Flatbreads
This recipe is a winner. The spiced marinaded lamb leg steaks are so flavoursome and tender and when combined with the salty, creamy whipped feta, zingy pine nut salsa, sweet roasted veg, juicy roasted tomatoes and fluffy flatbreads, it is a dish full of texture and flavour which feels like a real treat. It is my favourite type of food which can be piled high on a big platter and put in the middle of the table for everyone to help themselves.
Marinated Chicken Kebabs, Baked Sesame Feta with Thyme Honey, Za’atar Flatbreads, Smoky Baba Ganoush and Herby Bulgur Wheat
This is a collection of some of my most favourite flavours and on these cold, January nights we all need a bit of sunshine. The baked sesame feta with thyme honey is a real showstopper and incredibly moreish, while the marinated chicken thighs are so tasty and moist. Follow my recipes to make your own mezze feast - there really is something for everyone.
Za’atar Halloumi Flatbreads with Tzatiki and Greek Sumac Salad
Meat-free, healthy, delicious, and full of some of my favourite Greek flavours, this halloumi dish is a knockout. I love halloumi and by marinading it in a mixture of za’atar, garlic, lemon and finishing it in the pan with a drizzle of honey, you will not be able to resist it.
Lamb, Feta and Pistachio Meatballs with Tomato Sumac Salad and Za’atar Flatbreads
With this dish I tried to combine some of my favourite Middle Eastern flavours. These are up there with some of the best meatballs I’ve ever made - the crunch from the pistachios, saltiness from the feta, freshness from the herbs and sweet, sticky glaze from the pomegranate molasses made them completely moreish. With a refreshing tomato and olive sumac salad, bulgur wheat tabbouleh, tzatziki and homemade flatbreads to mop up all the deliciousness, this is my favourite type of food.
Spiced Lamb Houmous with Feta, Pomegranate & Pine Nuts
This is the type of meal I could just eat and eat and eat. It’s also a great dish to serve at a dinner party in the middle of the table for everyone to get stuck into. I recommend serving with a zingy sumac tomato salad and some homemade garlic flatbreads to scoop everything up with.
